This is your Bridgeport railfan camera install crew. After weeks of preparations, these guys came together on a single day to install a railfan camera along with a full railroad radio scanner setup.

The morning started out surprisingly rainy with heavy mist coming off the Tennessee River, but skies would clear and the sun would shine through the rest of the day. The camera was mounted on the southeast side of the building. Otherwise known as "track side."

John Peterson's radio equipment was installed and the radio coax cable was run out to the roof where the antenna was mounted. We decided on mounting the antenna to the southern side of the highest tower section of the depot. This gave us ample height to listen and catch traffic from both East and West.
